2. What Personal Information We Collect
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business functions. This may include:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, business name
- Billing information: billing address, payment method details (processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers)
- Usage data: how you and your customers use the platform, including flashing designs submitted and orders created
- Customer data: information about your customers that you enter into the platform (e.g. customer name, contact details, order details)
- Communications: messages you send us through the contact form or email
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies (see Section 8)
We only collect sensitive information with your consent or where required by law.

We collect personal information:
- Directly from you when you register, subscribe, or contact us
- From your customers when they use the public designer portal you share with them
- Automatically through cookies and analytics tools when you use our platform
- From third-party services such as our payment processor and authentication provider (Clerk)
4. Why We Collect and Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and improve our services
- Process your subscription and payments
- Communicate with you about your account, billing, and support requests
- Operate the public flashing designer portal on your behalf
- Send service-related notifications (not marketing without your consent)
- Comply with legal obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud or security incidents
We will not use or disclose your personal information for a purpose other than the primary purpose for which it was collected without your consent, unless permitted or required by law.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information to:
- Service providers who assist us in operating the platform (hosting, payment processing, authentication, email delivery) — under confidentiality obligations
- Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
- Business successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
Some of our service providers are located overseas (including the United States). Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles information consistently with the APPs.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. This includes:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication (managed by Clerk)
- Access controls limiting who can access personal information
- Regular security reviews
If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
7. Your Rights — Access and Correction
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to:

- Correct personal information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, incomplete, or misleading
- Complain about a breach of the APPs
To exercise these rights, contact us at sales@unda.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
If we refuse access or correction, we will provide reasons and information about how to complain.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in to your account
- Remember your preferences
- Understand how the platform is used (analytics)
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that some features of the platform may not function properly without cookies.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. When you close your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

If you believe we have breached the APPs or your privacy rights, please contact us first at sales@unda.com.au. We will investigate and respond within 30 days.

12. Changes to This Policy
